About Megan
Welcome!
I’m Megan: wife, mother to four spirited little humans, and an Endorsed Midwife with a deep love for all things birth, babies, and connection.
I was raised in Gippsland, where childhood was filled with horses, netball, summer swims in local waterholes, family picnics, and the joyful chaos of being one of five kids. Life was loud, competitive, and full of movement—just like it is now in my own home.
Motherhood has shaped me profoundly. My four energetic, strong-willed children were all born into the care of Midwives within continuity-of-care models, and those experiences deeply reinforced my belief in the power of woman-centred, respectful maternity care.
When I’m not supporting families, you’ll find me enjoying beach holidays (I am not a fan of the cold), chasing our dog on local walks, sharing meals with loved ones, flipping through travel ideas for “someday soon,” getting lost in a good book, or enjoying a strong coffee—and yes, I do love a cheeky red wine when the moment calls for it.
My journey into Midwifery began in 2011 in a large tertiary hospital—a truly intense and formative environment. It was fast-paced and diverse, giving me the opportunity to learn quickly and develop a wide breadth of clinical knowledge. I’ve worked across all areas of maternity, including high-risk pregnancies, a specialised Maternal and Fetal Medicine unit, and an Obstetrics and Gynaecology emergency department, gaining skills that continue to inform my practice today.
After welcoming our third baby, we made the move back to our roots in rural Victoria—closer to family, fresh air, and community. In this new chapter, I’ve worked in rural hospitals caring for lower-risk pregnancies, where I’ve grown even more passionate about supporting physiological birth and reducing trauma in birth experiences.
The shift toward private practice wasn’t just professional—it was deeply personal. I wanted to offer a model of care that is safe, connected, and empowering. One that honours each woman’s individual story and supports her in making choices that align with her values.
At the heart of my care is a belief that birth is not something to be managed—it’s something to be respected. Women are built to birth, and with the right support, they can do so confidently and powerfully.
Your body. Your tribe. Your way.
“In all cultures, the Midwife’s place is on the threshold of life, where intense human emotions, fear, hope, longing, triumph, and incredible physical power-enable a new human being to emerge. Her vocation is unique.”
